Hopefully, like us, you’re here because of your interest in trade – more specifically, in China Trade.
China Trade Blog is written by Maarten Beekers & Ezra Bisschop. Both passionate about international trade, we happened to fell in love with China.
Our journey started in 2013 at the Amsterdam School of International Business, where we studied Trade Management Asia together. After completing an exchange program at the Southwestern University of Finance & Economics in Chengdu, we both started to work in China.
Whereas Ezra took off to Shanghai to work for a well-known logistics provider, Maarten worked in Shenzhen in the areas of product development & manufacturing. After we both gained field-experience, we decided to join forces and start our own company: Choovit. Ever since, we have been on a mission to make sourcing from China accessible for any business.
What’s in it for you?
If you’ve ever been involved in trade with China yourself (or heard stories about it), you probably know that it’s not easy.
In particular, dealing with cultural differences, fraudulent suppliers, compliance regulations, and quality issues can be difficult and frustrating… And this is exactly why we decided to start the China Trade Blog.
The mission of this blog is to help importers gain insights & skills in sourcing from China. Therefore, we share our personal experiences and the valuable lessons we continue to learn along the way. We hope you enjoy our articles!
